As part of my artist in residency program at Reb Bubble I have created Strontium Tree Part 2. Just like part 1, this tree has many worlds within worlds and is very highly detailed. Months of work, lots of photographic missions, and heaps of zbrush, photoshop and 3D content has been created in order to produce this work. The original 3D model was created last year and I have moved the camera around to the other side of the tree in order to get this new view. Obviously the ground and environment is quite different to part one. The original tree photo was taken in the Atherton table lands, far north Queensland. The mountains in the back ground were taken in Vang Vieng Laos and montaged togther with the sea shore of philip Island Victoria.
